When families begin searching for senior care, they are often overwhelmed, emotional, and unsure where to start. I know this because I’ve spent my career on the inside of senior living communities—walking alongside residents, families, and care teams during some of life’s most important transitions.

I served as an Executive Director and Healthcare Director in assisted living, leading communities, improving operations, and advocating for the well-being of residents. During that time, I met countless families trying to make the best decision possible for someone they loved deeply—but they were navigating a complicated system without guidance.

I saw the questions, the worry, and the weight families carried when choosing a new home for their parent or loved one.

But my understanding of this journey didn’t only come from my professional experience.

I have also walked it personally.

My husband and I went through the emotional process of helping place my father-in-law into memory care. Before finding the right fit, we were three different communities, asking questions, weighing options, and trying to determine where he would truly receive the care and dignity he deserved.

That experience gave me a completely new perspective. Completing my time as a stay-at-home mom, I knew I needed to step into senior living.

Now with years of senior living experience, I still feel the emotional weight families feel when making these decisions. It reminds me that behind every placement is a family searching for peace of mind and a loved one who deserves to feel safe, respected, and at home.

That experience is what ultimately led me to create Stetson Senior Solutions.

I founded this company to provide families with something I believe everyone deserves during this journey: honest guidance, trusted expertise, and compassionate support. Having worked inside assisted living communities for years, I understand how they operate, what quality care truly looks like, and how to help families find the right fit—not just an available room.
